Cinco y Cinco/Five and Five invites five artists who have garnered regional, national, and international acclaim to each nominate another artist for inclusion in the exhibition, as a means of extending opportunities to artists they deem worthy of greater recognition.

The exhibition will include works in a variety of media by Victor Cartagena, Rolando Castellon, Adriana Castro, Ana de la Cueva, Lewis deSoto, Juan Jota Leaños, Gera Lozano, Geri Montano, Bernardo Roman Palau, and Gustavo Ramos Rivera. The exhibition references how much ground has been broken, covered, and achieved by Latino artists as a result of institutions like The Mexican Museum and other arts organizations that arose from the cultural struggles for recognition and social equality of the 1960s and ’70s.
